Accomplishments

I just went for a run.  I went because I couldn’t do anything else.  I get in these moods where I’m just down about life and I don’t feel like doing anything at all…except eat.  Well, the eating doesn’t help.  Sure, it tastes good, but it never really makes me feel better.  And exercise does!  I am no longer feeling depressed!

I have to remember this.  Even when I don’t feel like it, I have to get my butt up and moving.  It’s the best cure out there!

So there’s accomplishment number one.  Two?  I wore a pair of shorts, even though I think my legs are fat and they always ride up.  Three?  I didn’t run away from the guys in the gym.  This is my time and my body and I’m not going to be intimidated!  Go me!

Try, try again!

You know, weight loss is tough stuff, especially when life is crazy and it feels like I have no support. But I have to do it. I’m glad I have to, because it means that I can empathize with my clients. But it is rough, rough, rough. And even as often as I get depressed, I can do this! I can! The goal is 2 pounds a week. Let’s get moving!

No fear! No worry! No doubt!
